Older Newborn Studio Session
Meet little Eli! His mama wanted newborn pictures of her new little guy and I couldn't resist. The squishy naked newborn poses that you typically see are on younger babies generally four weeks or less. Older babies have more muscle tone so its harder to pose them like they were brand new. But the wonderful thing about older newborns are those gummy smiles and all those expressions!
With Eli I did mostly wrapped poses which is easier with the older babies. I also gave him fun tiny props like Chik-Fil-A nuggets and a drink, and a soft sweet teddy bear. Mama picked neutral colors which turned out gorgeous and really made him the focus of his pictures.
